Heathrow 70 birthday national press

To commemorate the 70th Birthday of Heathrow airport, a year long campaign of activity was kicked off by commemorative one day only press on the birthday itself. The work uses archive photography and introduces the 70th birthday plaque, and teases the new art direction for the coming year within a gallery like composition. 

The new look comprises angles type, fresh use of the existing purple brand colour, giving much more contemporary feel. 

The campaign consisted of Metro and Evening Standard cover wraps, and broadsheet double page spreads in the Guardian and the Telegraph.
